Unseasonal rain
lashing Madhya Pradesh over the past 2-3 days has arrested downtrend in
masur with prices of masur (bold) rising to ₹4,650-4,700 a quintal on
Friday. Masur (Madhya Pradesh) rose to ₹4,350. Rise in masur also lifted
its dal with masur dal (average) being quoted at ₹5,900-50, masur dal
(medium) at ₹6,000, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,100.
Moong
and urad also witnessed uptrend on higher imports with moong (bold)
rising to ₹7,800-8,000 (up ₹200 from last week), while moong (medium)
ruled at ₹7,300-7,600. Moong dal (medium) went for ₹8,800-8,900, moong
dal (bold) at ₹9,200-9,400, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,400-9,600.
Urad
and its dal ruled firm with urad (bold) being quoted at ₹6,350-6,400,
while urad (medium) ruled at ₹5,500-5,700. Urad dal remained unchanged
with urad dal (medium) at ₹6,800-7,000, urad dal (bold) ₹7,100-7,200,
while urad mongar ruled at ₹7,900-8,200 a quintal. (Business Line)
