According to Ministry of Agriculture, total rabi pulses acreage till Feb. 13, 2015 is down by 10.04% to 145.92 lakh hectare (Ha.) as compared with last year’s area coverage of 162.21 lakh hectare during the corresponding week.
The area planted under chana is also down by 15.98% to 85.91 Lakh Ha. against 102.25 lakh ha. in same corresponding week during last year.
