Arhar, its dal weaken in thin trade
New Delhi, May 17. Barring a weakness in arhar and
its dal prices on sluggish demand,other pulses held steady on
the wholesale pulses market today in limited deals.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers mainly helped
arhar and its dal prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal prices were
down by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,200-4,600 and Rs 5,900-6,100 per
quintal, respectively.
The following were today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,825-4,025, Urad Chilka (local) 4,700-5,050, best
5,150-5,650, Dhoya 5,600-5,800, Moong 5,300-5,700, Dal Moong
Chilka local 5,800-6,200, Moong Dhoya local 6,050-6,150 and
best quality 6,750-6,850.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor
local 4,900-5,000, best quality 5,000-5,100, Malka local
4,700-4,800, best 4,900-5,000, Moth 3,500-4,100, Arhar
4,200-4,600, Dal Arhar Dara 5,900-6,100.
Gram 3,350-4,000, Gram Dal (local) 4,050-4,150, best
quality 4,350-4,450, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,650, Rajdhani
1,650, Rajmah Chitra 8,200-9,400, Kabli Gram small
3,600-5,600, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia
3,900-4,800, Peas white 2,600-2,625 and green 2,700-2,800.
