Unofficial preliminary rice exports (excluding premium white
and fragrant rice) for February 15-21, 2016 totaled 142,500 metric tons, up
9,797 metric tons from the previous week and 40,006 metric tons from the
four-week moving average of 102,494 metric tons. Rice exports from January 1 –
February 21, 2016 totaled 675,158 metric tons, up 37.2 percent from the same
period previous year.
