Offering in Sept. delivery particularly in Punjab is very poor as ginners has committed not to make any sale. In forward Haryana J-34 RG is quoted for Sept. and October delivery @ Rs. 2705/- and 2600/- respectively. Y/day arrival was around 150 maund or 12 bales mainly in the area of Punjab.

Weather remained mostly clear with some passing clouds and light showers in North Gujarat area. Market advanced further as few lots of Shanker in Saurastra area has changed their hands at 28800/- per candy whereas October delivery sold @ 26750/- per candy.

Weather remained mostly clear during the day hours but again it was cloudy in the evening with some light showers in Marathwada area. Market remained strong with some buying from Southern and local Cooperative mills.
